After all the hassle and expense of getting my medical records transferred, my grad school health clinic “isn’t accepting new ADHD patients.” I understand why, sorta. They have one Dr. on staff who can write prescriptions for Adderall/Dexadrine/Ritalin/etc. and almost 500 patients. Thing is, I’d rather see them hire a new Doc and earn more money and take care of more patients than turn away people who need help. So I’m in grad school and in desperate need of ADD meds, and I have nowhere to turn. Add some seasonal depression to the mix, and I’m really *not* having a good day.
