WASHINGTON – Another anti-gay activist, another homosexual sex scandal. Same-sex rights proponents in the United States were revelling in the news Wednesday that George Rekers, a prominent Christian scholar and “gay cure” crusader, hired a male prostitute for a 10-day European jaunt.

Drew taking strong stand on drugs
The Drew police chief and the department’s officers are trying to send a strong message that drug crimes will not be tolerated in the city. “We arrested Lotarius Horton of Drew Friday night and charged him with possession of marijuana,” said Chief Anthony Gibson.

Narcotics Violations: On April 25, a Tomball Police Department sergeant arrested a 33-year-old Houston man for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance. At approximately 1:41 a.m., the sergeant arrested the man for Driving While Intoxicated in the 1000 block of W. Main. During booking, the man attempted to dispose of a baggie containing cocaine in the jail.
